I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality
When hark!
What is this I see,
Another square root of a three
As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands
Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed

Brilliant-o! Bravo! I feel smarter just reading that!
That was awesome! I love your poetry. I think my favorite is "Melaby." I must admit, I was a little jealous when you had a poem for Melissa and not me... We have marble time, though! :D
That was quite good! I'm no good at math, however, so I think you lost me in a couple of spots..
Melaby.. Marble Time.. I feel sadly lacking.
that was brilliant
People talk about "pie are squared" versus "pie are round", but since I like deep dish desserts, I think that it should be "pie sre cubed".
This was posted on your "non-post-tostie" that you did from your blackberry. I was corn-fused
How can I screw up a perfectly good joke with a typographical error? "PIE ARE CUBED!" (where is my delete button?)
